Rental Terms
How long you have the piece
Bookings are for 4 or 8 days. The first day of your booking is the day the dress arrives. The final day is the day it needs to be posted back.
Choosing your dates
We recommend selecting a delivery date 2 to 3 days before your event, so you have time to try it on with shoes.
Delivery and return
Have it posted to you, or arrange local pickup by prior confirmation. Every postage order includes a return satchel. Place the dress in the satchel and post it back by the final day of your booking.
Cleaning
Cleaning is included. Please do not wash or dry-clean the piece yourself — send it back as it is and we will take care of it.
Security bond
A refundable security bond is held at the time of booking and returned to you in full once the piece comes back on time and in good condition.
- Rentals under $100 — $50 bond
- Rentals of $100 or more — $100 bond
Every piece in our rental wardrobe is currently $96 per event, so the bond is $50.
The bond is not an extra charge and it is not a fee. It is released back to you after the piece is checked in.
Wear, damage and loss
Minor wear from normal use is expected and covered — that is what rental is for. Damage beyond normal wear, such as significant staining, tears, burns, or loss of the garment, is charged at the replacement value of the piece, less the bond already held.
Late returns
Pieces are often booked back to back, so a late return can cost another customer her event. A late fee of $20 per day applies after the final day of your booking.
If something goes wrong and you are going to be late, message us — we would always rather hear from you.
If it does not fit
Complete a return request through our returns portal and post the hire back within 24 hours.
Try before you book
You are welcome to visit the store for a try-on, Monday to Sunday, 9:00am to 5:30pm.
